City of Cologne: Nightlife

When the sun goes down, Cologne shows its unique charm and attracts night owls from all around. The nightlife is particularly vibrant on the Ring. In the side streets between Friesenplatz and Rudolfplatz revellers will find plenty of hip restaurants, bars and clubs as well as a few remaining establishments from the red-light district. Students can be found cavorting around in the “Zülpicher Viertel”, Cologne’s “Kwartier Latäng” or “Latin quarter”. The district of Ehrenfeld is also popular amongst people in search of a good time thanks to its indefinable mix of artist cafés, trendy bars and multicultural flair.
